The event, implemented in collaboration with partners of eTrade for all and the private sector, represents a unique opportunity to strengthen the multi-stakeholder dialogue on e-commerce and development in Africa.

Africa E-commerce Week will bring together Heads of State, government ministers and other senior government representatives, business leaders, civil society and international organizations for a week of dialogue to discuss the theme “Empowering African economies in the digital era”. It will enable youth and women entrepreneurs, as well as small and large businesses that are exploring digital opportunities, to interact with regulators, policymakers and civil society in search of solutions to current challenges.

In this context, ACSIS is in charge of organizing the Civil Society Forum with one of the flagship events which is the competition on the best mobile e-commerce application. »E-commerce Mobile Application Africa AWARD »(ECMAAA), for young university student all over the African Continent.

Though this Mobile App Competition , ACSIS offers Youth the chance as a young students and future managers to share their ideas with experts in ICT field the African continent during Africa Ecommerce Week in Nairobi.

Selected Team from each country will present (Oral) their projects to Jury committee from 10 to 13 December in UN headquarters at Nairobi. Then, technical Committee should select one Project from each country to final selection. Technical committee consists of :

Round-trip to E commerce Week in Nairobi Accommodation in Nairobi.

Second selection will be made in Nairobi from 10 to 13 December during « Africa e-commerce week “Empowering Africa Economies in the digital era” ».
Fifteen minutes Pitch is given to each team during 3 days to present their projects in front of of several African Leaders. A jury committee composed of international ICT expert will choose the best project according to the criteria scale, mentioned below. The Award Ceremony will be held on December’14
